The history of a simple solution to a simple problem....
For me (as for many people), the biggest obstacle to learning to ride the first few days were those bone-jarring, and sometimes remarkably painful 'butt-slams' on hard-pack snow or ice, that happened when I'd catch a heelside edge and, before I could react, my tailbone felt like I'd been dropped from about 50 feet up onto a cement slab!!!!
About 4 years ago, I took my friend's nephews (ages 9 and 13) snowboarding on a very cold night.
Both of them were relatively new to snowboarding and I was reminded about the worst part of learning to ride, so......
I came up with an inexpensive, but very effective and inconspicuous solution....the first iteration of the Tailgator.
